resto-city is a game

This is one of the reasons why I haven’t blogged for a while now. It’s the game Restaurant City in Facebook (RC for short) by Playfish. I can’t help it, this game is really addicting.

The game is quite simple. Your task is to run your own restaurant. You can hire your Facebook friends to work for your restaurant as cooks, waiters and cleaners. You can buy items to make your restaurant more attractive to customers. Since it runs on Facebook, you can visit your friends’ restaurants and trade ingredients with them.

Why is it so addicting? A friend once told me that it awes him to watch his online self acting very busy in the restaurant. For some, they enjoy designing the layouts of their own restaurants. For me, I enjoy trading ingredients to create high level dishes. Why, I have lots of Facebook friends right now for the sole purpose of this game. You get a free ingredient for your first visit to a person’s restaurant, and you have higher chances of finding the ingredients you need if there are more people playing the game.
