Sogo Kuala Lumpur on Jalan Raja Laut in one of the biggest department stores in Southeast Asia. It boasts eight floors and a waterfall on the top floor where fine restaurants and good sales are found. Pertama Complex sells cheaper products but is famous for shoes.

Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman has some attractive shops selling Chinese antiques and clothes. This area is closed to traffic every Saturday from 5 - 10pm and transformed to a night market, with plenty of bargain goods hawked in stalls.
